RESUME: Welcome

Creating since Crayons. Photographing since Polaroid. Designing since Lego. I have always possessed a passion to build, design, create and invent. This inherent need to create has propelled me into the marketing, branding & design world and paved the way to countless opportunities and unique experiences. After spending time in the West coast, action/skate retail industry, I returned to my roots and worked as a freelance photographer for several years shooting for multiple news outlets and nationwide publications. Over the last decade, I have built and managed the entirety of marketing & branding for a regional craft brewery including brand identity and direction, marketing concepts, creative campaigns, packaging design, product development, retail apparel and social media content creation. In my free time, I do everything outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, running, camping and all things adventure fuel my passion for life. I have a wife of 29 years that I adore more than anything and we are always looking for our next adventure together. Let's ride!

Manage and produce all creative aspects of company branding, marketing, graphic design and product development including print media, social media, packaging & apparel design, in-store marketing materials and on-site imaging. Build new brand concepts from scratch and implement marketing strategy for promotion in store and online. Lead branding and social media team in a fast-paced and exciting industry to improve brand awareness and expand brand territory.

Freelance Photographer specializing in both digital and vintage film photography. Work with assorted media outlets on daily assignments including shooting and post-production editing. Held several buying positions over the years with responsibilities including active apparel, outerwear, swimwear and accessories. Responsible for up to $40M in annual sales from a combined 4 departments. Participate in marketing photo shoots and help develop marketing materials for assigned departments. Visual Merchandise Director from 1993-1998. Plan and participate in over 80 new retail store openings in 17 states.

Represent the Near Southside in a positive manner and do everything possible to help further constructive development of the Near Southside community.

Participate in quarterly board meetings. Discuss prospective arts projects for the Near Southside neighborhood and community. Meet with local artists and leaders to discuss the needs for neighborhood art and beautification. Vote on finalization of arts projects and budget/allocation of funding for community arts projects.
